This is a "repetition loop": when the model meets material it can't confidently decode — handwriting or layout very unlike what it was trained on — it can collapse into repeating an easy pattern instead of transcribing. Leo detects this automatically: output that looks like a failure is hidden from you and the model retries (up to five times) with slightly varied parameters, which often succeeds. If it fails repeatedly, the job stops and your credit is refunded. Things that help: crop out unusual elements (black borders, odd content at the top of the page), transcribe smaller sections, and check rotation and resolution. If the source is a PDF, re-upload it and choose Pages in the upload dialog — converting each page to an image flattens the file and often fixes garbled results.
