Failed transcriptions refund the credit automatically. If you think credits have been wasted — blank results, partial pages, anything that doesn't look right — message us in chat and we'll investigate and put it right. (Refunds cover faults on Leo's side, not e.g. accidentally transcribing the wrong documents; refunded credits arrive as lifetime credits.)
